"Ways of the World"

This year (just like last year!) we will be using the 2nd edition of Strayer's "Ways of the World". This is a commonly used textbook throughout the country and for some reason is particularly popular down here in Florida. We have digital access to the book via the Copia eBook app. When you register for the class, you should be emailed your username and password for the Copia site by the Copia people themselves. If you can't find it, be sure to check your Spam folder!

You can find instructions for accessing the book in the file below. If you have a laptop and/or a tablet, you can download the Copia app and take the book with you wherever you go. Because we all know you'd rather not go anywhere without your AP history textbook!

A History of the World in 6 Glasses

Tom Standage's classic book, "A History of the World in Six Glasses" is a perennial favorite amongst AP World History teachers. It explores human history in six distinctive chunks, each associated with the development and popularity of a particular beverage. There are no assignments linked to this book at this time, but I know that it has personally helped my understanding of history and it might be a benefical read for you, too!
